I have a PC Windows 7 machine runnign as a file share (work group) which I SMB to from my MacBook Pro OSX 10.7.4.
This works fine but the problem is there seems to be some limit on the number of items (files and folders) I can see in any of the shared directories on the windows machine. The limit is around 40 items. If I add any more items to the directory they just don't show up or they appear and the last one on the list dissappears. If I look at the same directory on the pc I can see the files. Also I am not having any similar issues on my external hard drives etc., just the windows 7 machine.
I've looked at my sharing preferences on both ystems and they all seem normal - all permissions are as they should appear. I can't see any way to fix this.
If any body has a solution to this I'd be very grateful!
