With Macs only having 2.2% marketshare, I disagree with Jobs.

"Apple CEO Steve Jobs doesn't believe music lovers are stupid enough to pay premium prices for mobile music downloads."

hahaha...yeah right, with ipod video and itunes video store, what teenager can resist downloading the latest music video, even if it costs 1-3 bucks?

I think that Steve overestimates the general public...

Eh, not pay 3 bucks for music downloads. HA! People are willing to pay up to 400 bucks for a Mp3 player, so why not 3 bucks for a song. Ring tones sell like hotcakes, and most cost 1.99 each.

Jobs doesn't seriously believe that.

The whole purpose of sales and marketing is to make people want to buy stuff they wouldn't otherwise consider buying. In other words, it is based on the assumption that customers are too stupid to decide for themselves.

Apple plays the game just as much as everybody else.
