if the mfgr doesn't provide Mac software you are probably out of luck; the tv tuners are picky devices to program.
you might try a google search .

When it comes to TV tuners for the Mac, there is usually only one option: EyeTV (http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/software/EyeTV3/product1.en.html) from elgato. The company produces its own line of TV/video products. It also supports many third-party tuners (http://www.elgato.com/elgato/na/mainmenu/products/software/EyeTV3/product3.en.html) that are marketed toward Windows users. Hauppage is notable among Windows-oriented TV tuners that is support on the Mac by EyeTV.
I do not see the OP's tuner among those listed among those supported by EyeTV. Interestingly enough, AVerMedia offers the AVerTVHD Volar MAX tuner for Macintosh systems. The OP might see if the AVerTVHD Volar MAX tuner's driver (http://www.avermedia-usa.com/avertv/Support/Download.aspx?Type=APDriver&tab=APDriver&id=472) supports his tuner. If it does not, then the OP should contact AVerMedia Technologies to see if his tuner is supported by EyeTV.

I'm going to be setting up a new MacMini as a HTPC in the very near future, and would like to connect my OTA antenna to it (as I will be dumping my basic cable service).
What would be the best tuner to connect - ideally to have the option to at least record one show while wathcing another, or perhaps watching two at once.
Anything recorded will likley be converted into a iTunes video compatable format (suggestions?) so I can watch on my new Apple TV in the other room.
Connections should be simple enough - for now will go with an HDMI to DVI cable (my current tv does not have a HDMI input) and then an optical cable to provide audio. Eventually with a TV upgrade, it will all run HDMI.
So, mostly I'm looking for good suggestions for a dual tuner setup system for a mac mini.
Any and all help is appreciated.

AverTVHD Volar Max works in OS X. I use one. Works great on my old C2D 2.0 Macbook. Doesn't work so great on my 2011 MBA.
