Issues with Apple Software Update After Upgrade To ML 10.8?

I've upgraded to the retail version of ML 10.8 from OS X Lion and there are 3 updates in my software updater but they just say "Waiting" after quite a bit of time. Is this normal for the course today based on user activity? Anyone else see similar results or normal behavior?

Are you looking in the update tab of the Mac App Store? It could just be apples servers are overwhelmed so it's taking awhile

After my update and reboot, I ran the update and iPhoto needed updating. I told it to update and it started loading immediately.

Not sure why yours is like that unless something else is downloading or a file lock?
