How much space did it take?

The requirement for ML is 8gb, but I'm wondering is that on top of the current OS? So I have 100gb free on my SSD with Lion installed, will I be at 92 after I install ML or will the installation first remove Lion (and recover the space) and then install ML?

I gained about 1 GB from the upgrade (as opposed to a clean install).

I'll let you know what happens for me tonight. I'm upgrading from Lion on a Late-2010 MBA.

I gained between 1-2GB, don't know the exact figure. But I was on about 198ish GB free, now I'm on 200.

I think doing a clean install and then restoring files from TM will save some space, hopefully.

I did the upgrade and lost about 300MB which isn't too bad at all. Still not sure the upgrade was worth it, but that's a different topic!
