playing movies in itunes knocks out air stream mirroring

AS mirroring is wonderful but when I play a movie or a music video from Itunes - I loose loose my lap top mirroring - I can play other movies from itunes via air play but must stop / restart mirroring to show other apps from my lap top.

thoughts. ?
