Mountain Lion for free on "new" mbp?

I've got a new mbp i5 at 2,5ghz serial number , shouldn't I get mountain Lion for free?

btw, i would NOT post your serial number up...EVER.

You should really edit the serial number out of your post.

If you bought your mac after June 11th, then yes it would be free.

The serial number could be used to redeem the Mountain Lion update and then you would be out of luck. Also, could be used to look up its sale and warranty information on Apple.com.

Picked up a new MBP myself, but figured I'd wait a bit to try to get my ML code... seems like there is a bug or two in the Up to Date system.
