My Apple TV 2 has been working just fine, however, any new TV show I've bought since yesterday (July 25th, 2012) will not stream on my Apple TV. When I go to TV Shows and Purchased and select a show to play it says iTunes store is not available. When I try to play a show purchased prior to the 25th of July it works just fine. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I called Apple Support and they wouldn't tell me anything until I purchased Apple Care.

I was having this problem a little bit yesterday, but I tried again later and it worked. I think Apple's servers are under some strain right now with the Mountain Lion upgrades and stuff. Just be patient, it will work.

did you buy the app in the app store or on the actual appletv? Not everything plays "in the cloud" You may have to play it though home sharing via itunes. I always buy through appletv so that way I am certain.

I have been able to play Deadliest Catch on my Apple TV, which I subscribed to on my iPad back when the season first started. I think there were just some issues yesterday--looked like it was cleared up later in the evening, at least for me.

The shows that aren't working are ones I have season passes for and have worked since before yesterday. Hopefully it will clear itself up in the next day or so. Makes me feel better to know some others have had this issue.
