I have a 2006 first gen black macbook and it does not charge any battery anymore (I have 2, one that is almost completely dead and another that is around 60% dead). I bought a 2011 mac mini last year when that was released and my fiance and I use that for our main desktop, but I was thinking about getting her a 13" MBP or 13" MBA so she can use it for writing a novel. Anyone have an idea to which one might be the better long term? I would use it as well for gaming if we got a Pro (Starcraft and such). Also, any idea what I could do to re-purpose my old black macbook?
