UGH, you've got to be kidding me. I tried these out after my bro brought back a pair he got from a friend, and the sound quality is NOWHERE near that of true in-ear headphones.

I have a pair of ER-4P in-ear headphones from Etymotic Research and a pair of E4c in-ear headphones from Shure, and let me tell you, the sound is so muddied up when using the EarJams that it's ridiculous. Yes, you get much more bass, but at the expense of really crappy sound quality.

I have to question the reviewer's methods -- has he actually listened to a pair of good in-ear headphones?

The article compares them to typical fidelity produced by in-ear headphones IN THE FIFTY DOLLAR RANGE, not to your $250 in-ear headphones. That would be quite the value to get $250 sound out of $14.99 ear-bud extensions!
