Apple has no plans to let advertisers access iPods directly, the company's vice president of product marketing Greg Joswiak said: "We have gone out of our way to not take advantage of advertising opportunities. We don't think it's part of the experience we want to give."Thank god. The moment Apple lets advertisers infringe upon the iPod means the start to the end of the iPod.

One Word Describes this Idea and the record labels in general. Mud. In addition, apple isn't stupid and would never in a thousand years, at least not under the careful stewardship of Jobs, allow advertising filth to be placed, ad nauseam, on their iPods.
