Has anyone upgraded to 10.8 using a ML-1740 printer and SpliX driver? I'm using SpliX http://guigo.us/mac/splix/ with 10.7 and it works but I don't want to upgrade to 10.8 if it kills the printer.

Samsung ML-1710 and Mountain Lion
I was using SpliX successfully in 10.7 with a Samsung ML-1710. When I upgraded to 10.8, SpliX stopped working.
Today, I installed CUPS drivers. I'm able to print again.
