Noticed this when watching a show in QuickTime. Even though Facebook sharing is coming in "the fall", it made its way into the release of ML.

Just thought it was interesting. Anyone found it anywhere else?

Facebook support is available as a developer preview and can be downloaded from Apple's developer site (additional package). You must be a member of the Mac developer program to get this.

Not a member, but I still see it.

I was able to upload a short clip of some gaming footage directly from QT and it published on Facebook. I deleted it shortly after because I didn't care for it to be on my page. But it did work. Oh, also, I'm not a Mac Dev, I am not enrolled in the Mac Developer's program.

Here are some screenshots.

Starting the upload, after logging in and editing the video info.

Halfway thru the progress.

And the dialog box gives you a link directly to your video.

Same here, on my primary machine I have Facebook as an option in Quicktime, but no where else.

I think it's more odd that some people don't have this option. It's appearance in QT doesn't mean much since YouTube's been there for a while and that's not coming soon systemwide.

Wow! Because of this thread I opened a movie in QuickTime, looked under the share menu, and there was the link to Facebook. I entered my name and password and it connected me. I could upload a movie to my Facebook if I wanted.

I am NOT a developer. I did not think this option was activated yet.
