Hello Guys

I'm gearing up for an upgrade to a rMBP, but first I have to get rid of my old MBP.
So I wan't to erase everything on it, that no matter what, the new owner cannot access any kind of old files etc. It have to be basically as a brand new machine.
Is it enough to do a clean install of Lion, or do I need to do more?

Thanks,

When you reformat the drive with Disk Utility there are options for erasing that would be more secure. Someone with some drive recovery chops could, in theory, access the data that you once had there. The different options take more time, but best practices would suggest you do that, especially if you have sensitive data on the machine.

Really prudent users would yank the drive and drill a hole in it. YMMV.
