New Formac 1740 OX just $699

All I can say not is

It's technologically identical to 1740 but $200 less.
It sounds really good.

That's a nice monitor - very slick, but I don't understand why its cheaper than the other 1740- anyone know?

And they have a nice site too, been updated recently, very slick.

the 1740 ox allows up to 7 dead pixls, the 1740 regular only 2

also there is no indication of a 3 year warranty for the ox version as there is for the regular version

there had to be a reason...
