I told you about my classmate's BSOD incident in this thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=135320&highlight=bsod). Let me tell you about his latest attempt at a presentation:

Keep in mind he's a computer science graduate...

I had finished a presentation on my iBook in class. Everyone loves my PowerPoint backgrounds since the Mac version has several different, fun and attractive templates. He comes waltzing up there with his flash drive, so I offer my iBook for his use, assuring him he could plug it in my USB drive and it would work fine. He made some smarmy remark about how it wouldn't show up right (because my Mac presentations don't appear correctly on XP computers) and declines.

He pulls out the college's Dell laptop, complete with XP. He sets it up, plugs in the flash drive, and tries to get it going. The machine goes through this "Found New Hardware" thing, but won't install or recognize the flash. HAH! He has to RESTART the laptop! It takes a good five minutes delay in prep time as we await his presentation.

I won't go into his presentation today in another class. (We had to do HyperStudio, ugh). He went on about spyware and trojans, and made another remark about my Mac not getting viruses, etc., because of the "two percent user base". I guess he means people aren't going to bother Mac users, but he doesn't understand the Unix base of OS X. He went on for 15 minutes and the prof had to cut him off because he was way over our heads, but mostly he was over his own head. I think he's a spammer because he knows so much about it.

Anyway, it's just fun to have a computer that works!!!
