okay this is probably a basic question... but is there a way to make two sperate pdf files as one?

Yes, but you will need Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader). If you don't have Acrobat and if you are not concerned about the contents of the files, send it to me and I'll combine them for you.

I love Apple's move in OSX to make all apps pdf avaliable. I now use the fax machine about %60 less, which in time & materials is major, especially when you have to fax out to 15 builders on your projects.
in OS9 you have to have an acrobat writer in your chooser. In any instance, you know adobe got in good with apple, and how does apple get away with making "Preview" capable of viewing pdf's?

While Acrobat is copyrighted by Abobe, PDF as a document standard is not, just as Microsoft can't have a monopoly on the .doc extension (although I'm sure they would). Apple was able to reverse engineer the process without using a code from Adobe to make PDFs. In fact, you can also have some web-based technologies make PDFs. PHP, which MacRumors apparently uses, can generate PDF files on the fly. Pretty cool, huh?
