Comment: Yet more Dylan to listen to! This is just a classic song that other singers have probably arguably done better, but it still does sound great coming from this man. It's worth it to have in any music collection :)

Arguably? I don't think there is any question about it -- the Animals version is by far the best version of this song ever. I think the only argument going on about this song is whether or not it's the greatest recorded track in the history of music.

First off, you are right on the mark narco, rock on! And secondly, "other versions"??!!! Often times, there is no substitute for the original (however one notable exception is the Gary Jules version of Mad World).

If I recall correctly, Dylan's self-titled debut contained only two original songs - "Talkin' New York" and "Song to Woody" (at that point, he was still absolutely obsessed with Woody Guthrie). All of the other songs were covers, and I feel that they were all done with that signature Dylan touch of pure emotion. Buy this song, or better yet, buy this album.
