...use 2gb as a flash drive, and the remaining 6gb as the iPod part? My Lunatik should be here tomorrow, and sometimes I find myself needing to move around documents with no flash drive around. This can help that problem sometimes.

I would think it would require a jailbreak, which obviously doesn't exist on Nanos, so its really a long shot I guess.

They don't have a disk mode? 6G iPod Nanos don't run iOS. They run the regular iPod firmware. The version they run is very much like the version on the 4G and 5G nanos, but with a touch based UI.

Maybe I'm missing something... I plugged it into my MacBook and nothing showed up on my desktop. ITunes started, and I tried ejecting it thinking it would switch to a disk mode but it just went into charging only mode. I'll try again tomorrow
