I've set up a site on my iDisk but I was wondering if I could use the Apache thingy to host something from my iBook. I know the network can access it from http://<local ip addy>/~shortusername and the internet should be able to from http://<ip>/~shortusername but my problem is I'm on an Airport LAN with a modem/router connected to the base station so when I go to a site to find out my IP, it shows me the IP of my Netgear router, which obviously doesn't have my ~shortusername directory on it. Is there any way I can host the site off my computer while on a LAN? If I find some way of finding my computer's individual IP address (pray tell how), can I then host a site from my comp?

Sorry to bother you again, but I'm trying to set up the port forwarding thingy but whenever I type my comp's address on the LAN (10.0.x.x) into the LAN IP box, it says it's illegal! I'm totally stuck here. Sorry...
