Switching Tuesday! 15inch PB

Well I will be picking up a 15inch powerbook SD on tuesday

I want the 128mb graphics card but im not sure if the store will carry it. planning on getting 1.5gb's of ram but keeping the 80gb hdd and getting a external one.

Tuesday is update day, and people on here are talking about PB updates...

any sugestions on what i should do?

Wait until Tuesday, and see if anything happens. The PBs have reached the end of there cycle and should be updated soon. Although, w/ the Announcment that Jobs is giving the Keynote in Paris, Updates might not occur until then.

If nothing comes on Tuesday, then buy the 1.67ghz and it'll be fine!

I have the 1.67ghz now, and the only way I'm selling this thing is if DualCore PB's or Low Power G5's are announced in paris.

order asap! there is no way of telling if updates will come, and it'll still be a great machine for years to come.

Just get the thing. Nothing major will come out Tuesday. The next major change to PowerBooks won't be until they turn to Intel chips.

My 15" BTO powerbook is scheduled to arrive Tuesday with 128MB VRAM. Even if they do update them, as long as I don't have any dead pixels I will be happy as can be with my new powerbook :D
