I had one KP since installing 10.4.2, which was similar to KPs seen in 10.4.1 and seemed to involve using my BT mouse, and either powering it up at home again with the mouse still on but way out of range, across the street, or else the mouse sometimes turning my iBook on when it was closed (and not supposed to turn on from mouse input). It seems like issues surrounding this are pretty much all that's left in terms of massive instability for me, and I've found that if I turn off my BT mouse whenever I leave my office for the day (where I leave it), 10.4.2 is more stable than Tiger has ever been to date for me.

I'm at 12 and a half days of uptime, and I've never been past five, I think, since the time Tiger came out.

OTOH, I've found that something is clogging up Safari, on occasion, and that I have to periodically reset it to address the issue... Also it seems like VM is not being trashed so well, and also gets clogged up, and a few times I have had to close all my programs and then start re-opening them (without rebooting) to get performance back up. This may be in part due to having less free HD space than I have traditionally....

But things are definitely getting better for me. And that was without re-installing.
