'Aliens' on Channel 4: is this the directors cut?

Jim Cameron's 'Aliens' has just come on terrestrial TV in the UK and there's some random extras in it, including Sigsy talking about a daughter. WTF?

This has to be the directors cut, right?

yeah ive seen it. It has the robot centries in the hallways.
In the original, the fact that she was out in space for 57 years
was more like a dream, but in this one its verified by seeing
that picture of her daughter. Also it gives a little more back story
about the colonists.
