Safari on mountain lion looks occupying much space and also bit slower

I notice, Safari on mountain lion occupying much space and also bit slower than the one on Lion X. I think I need to go and get more info on upgraded safari to see have added more specifically.
some times takes time to launch web, may be it is doing additional things. Also I do not like much longer tabs on it, but it is my personal opinion though.
Overall I like ML, with its new features, specially Air play. Is any one notice similar or close to what I see ??
 
I have found Safari 6 to be much quicker on ML for me
In fact, I switched from Chrome back to Safari because of it
 
Probably I am missing some thing, usually Safari is faster. Also there used to be "clean cashe" option on Lion and I do not find it on latest Safari. Please advice me.
 
go to Safari and click on reset safari. Choose items you want to reset and that should be it! 🙂
