Just bought Max Payne 3, pre-owned from BlockBuster (UK). Opened it up, and noticed the disk has writing on, from I'm presuming the store. The writing says "003".

I know it's pre-owned, and it was only £20, but is it common for pre-owned games to have writing on them? Kinda puts a dampener on things, having the picture that's on the disk ruined by a big fat "003".

Unless it stops it working then I think you shouldn't complain.

How can that really stop you enjoying the game.

No, am not going to complain, am just wondering if pre-owned games are usually marked by the store?

I've purchased pre-owned DVDs, CDs, books, games, and even controllers that have been written/marked on by the previous owners. If you want something in 'mint' condition buy new or ask to see it before you buy it.
