By the way...where is the PLUS sign on the Safari toolbar?

This used to be the most convenient way for saving a bookmark in Safari. Where is it now? Or do I have to install an extension?
 
Right click on the toolbar and choose Customize Toolbar. From the dropdown window you can drag the "Add Bookmark" button to the toolbar.
