Does anyone know if you can return BTO computers to apple retail stores? I know you couldn't get an exchange, but could they order a new one?

Essentially, no returns on BTO computers.

You cannot return a BTO to an Apple retail store under any circumstance. If you have a problem with the BTO you can usually get an exchange but sometimes they will not even let you do a refund only an exchange. The retail store technically does not have to accept returns of any kind from the apple online store. I was told the two are completely separate entities. So even if you order a stock iBook from the apple online store and you want to return it to the retail stores chances are you cannot.
