Any scratches on the case?

There are some smaller superficial scratches. Mostly on the same side as the pic above. There is one scratch that is pictured which was a little on the bigger side.

MODS: can you update the title on the Marketplace listing page?

What was the power supply recall about? Was it due to an issue in fan noise?

How is the overall fan noise in the MDD in general?

One more question, what is your reason for selling?

btw, it looks good, even with the scratch.

Yep, issue with noise. Apple had a voluntary recall and allowed MDD owners to swap PS for $15 shipping.

Its not the quietest mac around, but my only comparison is my mini. I have used it for the last 3 or so years, and haven't gone crazy yet ;)

Honestly, I am selling my house (see sig) and am taking advantage of the move to "upgrade" the machines. I will repurpose the mini to my main machine and eventually get my wife an iBook for tooling around the house.
btw, it looks good, even with the scratch.

Thanks, it was well cared for and would look good in your's or doucy's office :D

I wish you could too :)

Anyways, I threw it on FeeBay for those worried about buying privately.

Hocking it and keeping the mac mini... very interesting.

How does the dual 867's compare to a 1.42 single machine?

Well, I have a 1.25Ghz with 1GB and they are very similar in performance see http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=126084. Obviously, the G4 has a better long term upgrade path, but I have yet to upgrade beyond PCI cards and IDE drive - also helps that the G4 has a higher value making it easier for me to get an iBook. Finally I am running Tiger on the mini, so I can enjoy Dashboard and Spotlight, which the Powermac doesn't have.

Sold pretty fast eh?

Great machine man. If I had the cash, I would have jumped all over this offer as a replacement for my Yikes.

I listed it as fixed price on FeeBay and it sold for $750 + shipping. I am awaiting payment (bidder didn't seem to understand the part about I don't take CC payments through paypal anymore) that hopefully wont fall through, but I must...keep...the...faith. Actually he/she was responsive so I am confident it will happen.
