I can recommend TVs all day. The problem we run into is you didn't post any details except "only good movie" which can be said for any 1080p TV. You need to give specifics on what you're actually looking for (price, features, etc) before anyone can recommend a TV for you.

If you don't care about Smart/3D/ things like that, then you're $1,000 limit is going to be very high.

You can get a nice Sharp LCD 42" for less than $500.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Sharp+-...HDTV/5061483.p?id=1218604357650&skuId=5061483

You can also get a nice LG 42" LED for about $500.

Just do a search on bestbuy.com

I'd love to help you more, but if you're JUST looking for a HDTV to watch movies on and don't care about any other Features/Specifications then you can get any 1080p TV and be ok.
