Hi, I am using an up to date version of Mountain Lion on a 13" MacBook Air 2012. When the laptop wakes from sleep and I am ready to put my password in, the keyboard doesn't activate for another 3 or 4 seconds after the log on screen appears. Is this normal? I don't recall it happening before I updated from Lion.
Thanks.

PS sorry if this question has already been answered, I did a search but couldn't find anything.

Happens to me as well. It is normal. After some "sleep" your Mac needs to activate every piece of it. It kind of turns on again and it takes its time to "wake up". Also you may haven't had this issue on Lion, just because your Air is a 2012 model and you didn't hqve Lion installed for much time as Mountain Lion came out a few days later. I had this on Lion as well. Actually it's not a problem; it's something normal mate.
