THIS IS A GOOD DEAL...i just pretty much bought this same set up but i got the superdrive and i have the 1.67 proc. and i have 2g of ram but i have spent a little over 3K!! this is a killer deall

You can get an NEW apple 15" PowerBook refurb (yes less ram, less coverage, but faster processor) for $1700, and thats practically new. $1600 seems a little steep, but I'm not in the market (my PB is at the FedEx in CA).

I'd equate a refurb to a 1 year old laptop...which is what mine is. I think 1600 is a damn good deal. you can't get a refurb with the same specs AND warranty plan for 1600.

i think your best bet is to put the pb on ebay. you might even more than what you want for it.
