This first batch comes as a result of a thread on the Mac Observer forums from a while back, about who could get Mac OS X running on the most obscure platform. It started with someone posting "Talk about unsupported hardware..." and an obviously fake picture of OS X running on an old 68k Performa. It eventually became a photoshopping contest.

That's cute King Cobra, the cat looks so calm and peaceful! Is it real, photshop, or a cutout. Whatever I like it, pets do the most precious things. The trick is to capture it on camera, happens to me alot, wish I had a camera righ now. By the time you get the camera the moment is gone, sadly.

You've never tried to bathe a cat obviously - however, I've recently learned that Persian Cats aren't as skitish around water and some even don't mind being immersed in it. But in general a cat in a tub is a good trick.

AMD's chips didn't do to well. :rolleyes:
I think in most cases You couldn't use the chip ever again, the best case senerio was that the game crahsed and the comp locked up. :eek:

If they wanted to get rid of a few chips they could have just given them to me! I need a nice pc to play ut2003 for the week until it comes out at MWSF. Did they overclock the chips? Or just not put a fan in the machine?:confused:

The test was How hot they got and if they burnt up fast.
They had fans and then they take them off while playing a game. Then they put a device that reads heat and checked how hot it got and if the games continuted to play.
In most cases the comp crashed and in some cases the processor fried. :eek:

:) I was ... um ... slightly exaggerating. I did start reading early, but not that early. And I didn't start reading heavy-duty technical manuals until I got my first computer, a Mac IISI, when I was 5. ;)

Besides, that's not always a good measurement of how talented someone is-- Grand master Douglas Adams didn't even start talking until he was around 4, let alone read...

It really isn't to hard, they have like a tablet processor in those tho.
It isn't hard to modify words once you crack the system. (Which takes about 3 seconds)
