Please pardon my ignorance on the subject.
I have dabbled a bit with Macromedia Flash, the try out version and
Apple's Motion, heres mt querie, are they essentally the same thing??
To put motion, graphics and type in banners and broadcast ready video?
I am a designer and a film Director, commercials, and it seems to me
if in fact they both do the same thing, Apple's Motion should put Flahes more complex interface and user's curve out to pasture...?
Or is this a QuarkExpress verses InDesign where Quark has a nightmare interface and InDesign a pleasant learning experience!!
Please bring me up to speed.
Thank you
R

Flash is for the web. Using vector graphics and such. Motion is for video.

Easy choice

OK, but Motion is capable of using vectors as well...!
And you can incorporate video in Flash too!

These programs are extremely different beasts. They really don't compete with eachother at all.
