Hey, I'm wondering if there's any interest in this G4 iMac my friend is trying to sell, and how much it could go for...
Here are the specs:
800Mhz G4
60GB HD
512MB RAM
DVD-RW Drive (DVR-104 Pioneer)
Thanks!

I think $750-900 is way too high.

It is way too high. I just sold mine yesterday, it had more RAM, bigger HD, too, for $550.
$750-900? You can get a iMac G5 for that price range!

Oh, I forgot -
It also has an Airport card and the graphics is a GeForce2 MX, but I don't know how much VRAM it has, sorry.
Yeah, I was thinking I could probably snag around $500 - $600 for it, but I wasn't 100%. She's really looking into getting an iBook, so maybe I could find someone to trade for it, but I think that people with a G4 iBook would want more for it... but I dunno. Ideas?

Agree 750-900 is WAY to high. Id think 450-550 would be more in the price range.
BTW... What size screen size is it?
BTW #2... Do you have any pictures of it im interested but my pay check that comes tommorow may kill my interest.

That computer has 32MB of VRAM, if I recall correctly.

Yeah, DerekW69, I emailed you back, it's something I'll have to discuss with her. I'm curious for my friend who wants to move on to an iBook from this iMac, so she's trying to sell it.
As far as software, it comes with Jaguar installed, and all the original CD's. Again, this is a feeler thread to get a feel for what she could get for it, if she decides she wants this 100%, I'll definitely put up a FS: thingie in the title.
Thanks for all the advice, though, everybody!

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that the iMac has been sold. Apparently some local store offered her $600 off of a new iBook if she traded it in, so she's gone and done that. Not a bad deal, if I must say so.
