You can still pick up a SuperMac (http://www.umax.com/scanners/index.jsp?cate=Scanners%3A+SuperMac&skunum=IPDV-50110#specifications) from them too! $175, such a deal!

I remember my old high school photography computer lab only had these UMAX and Power Computing (is that what they were called?) machines. When we had to work with Bryce, we created our scene during the day, then let them render over night so that by the time we got back the next day everything was done. Ahhh, the glory days.

Which is actually not a bad deal if you want an old OS 8 box around for games and whatnot. Perhaps a "first computer" for your kids?

Anybody in the UK want a S900? I'll clean it up and send it on for a lot less than $175
