I'm going to do some composite blowups where my end product will be a minimum of 24" high by 48" wide. I want to look at different backgrounds and I have to use supplied JPEG images that will be spotted in, collage-style. I can't control the submitted media, I just get to use it and hopefully make it look good.

Alien Skin BlowUp 3, and maybe some other plugin style products are my only option right? I want to blow up the 72 dpi say 1200 X 800 images to 300 dpi and maybe go from 8" wide to maybe 18" - 24" wide and not have the jaggies be so apparent. They'll be printed on a wide body HP InkJet like a DesignJet Z6200 with decent resolution capability.

I don't have a lot of plugin experience, so I'm looking for a software product that hopefully has a trial period rather than buy something and discover it is too unwieldy or hard to use. Any suggestions?
