I sometimes serve up my music collection on my XP machine running iTunes 4.9 as the server using the share my music option.
My girlfriends iBook is the client also running 4.9, on OS Rev 10.3.9.
Problem is some songs don't play when the user attempts clicks on the song from the remote machine. There is just no response from itunes...very strange. It doesn't seem to follow any pattern, and reloading the complete share doesn't make a difference.
Anyone have any similar problems?
I was wondering also if there is an index xml file on either server or client that I could delete and rebuild and if so would anyone know exactly where they are??
