DVD on my Powerbook didn't work

I tried to run Braveheart on my PB Ti 500. I've used it in DVD players and in this computer before. Unfortuately this time I got this...So I tried it with the Matrix and got the same thing. Any ideas?

He means:

Step 1: Using your hand, make a fist.
Step 2: Raise your arm into the air.
Step 3: Lower it down on to the PowerBook.
Step 4: Try the DVD player again.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Hit it means, hit it. Hope you get it fixed. That sucks. I play DVD's on my iBook at least once per day.
