I've been telling myself that i would buy a big monitor when the price drops, ether a Dell or an Apple.

This way i can resist spending lots of £££ as i am saving to pay the bills that go with moving house, when mine sells.

But now the price has dropped.

£670 for the 24" model.

My resistence is crumbling.

Its not long now.

That is absolutely incredible value :eek: :cool: Already got a 2005FPW though, and I can't see the RevA iMacs FX5200 (w/ hack) powering the on board 20" screen + one of these bad boys :(

Now i need to move my desk over as the Dell is so big it won't fit on properly.

Whilst I'm not e I can report that I got a DVI cable with my 2005FPW (and a standard VGA cable and a USB A-B cable for the hub iirc).

Check the packing list (or whatever it's called) before you call them! Maybe they've cut back on the cables to make the lower price points...

Hmmm... not necessarily. Dell are having a monitor sale and quite a few of the LCD screens are going cheap.

Just phoned up, after being re-directed to India like evry othe bloody call centre they did confirm that it comes with DVI cables.
