FS: powermac G5 1.8 single 160/1.5/radeon 9600

In another week I'm off to law school, which means it's time to sell my powermac and order a new laptop. This is a single processor 1.8 Ghz G5 rev. A (900 mhz bus, 8 GB RAM capacity). It has a 160 GB hard drive, 1.5 GB RAM (6x 256 MB, 2 slots open), and a 64 MB Radeon 9600 graphics card. It has a superdrive... not exactly sure the speed. Whatever stock was on this model (4x?).

I don't have the original disks from this PM (I wasn't the original owner and never had them) but I'll include a full boxed retail copy of Tiger. Bluetooth and AE are not built in but I'll include a D-Link bluetooth adapter. Apple pro mouse and keyboard included (keyboard contingent on my lousy brother giving it back to me :) )

The powermac is in absolutely flawless working order with no problems of any kind. Externally, there is a slight black mark on the edge of one of the handles on top; there's nothing else cosmetically wrong at all.

I'm asking $1400. Please don't tell me how apple.com is selling this or that refurb for this or that price. This PM has some advantages over the ones on apple.com, and vice versa. That said, I'm happy to listen to reasonable offers.

I'm located in the Boston area, and would love to do local pickup, if possible. But I'm willing to ship within the US if necessary.

do a three day listing on ebay, it will be more guaranteed to sell, but you will have to pay some fees :rolleyes:

A good suggestion, and if I have to I will, but I'll need to borrow a digital camera, risk non-paying bidders (has happened to me twice on ebay), and pay those fees, as you said...

Have you sold this yet? I'm on Cape Cod, and would be able to pick it up. I'm weighing several options, but I'm definitely interested.
