I am interested in parting out my Powerbook 17" 1Ghz. All components are in excellent condition except the logic board, which is dead.

The screen is immaculate- no marks, dead pixles, blemishes. The case (bottom, top, etc.) is free from major blemishes and shows very little signs of actual use.

I will sell individual components if requested or the entire unit. So, if you need parts for your Powerbook 17", post here or PM me and I'll be happy to sell.

The overall specs are:

CPU: 1.04 Ghz
RAM: 1GB DDR PC2700 (2x 512mb)
HD: 60GB
Optical: SuperDrive
Airport Extreme card installed

I also have a retail Tiger 10.4 install box w/ all media and a 17" Booq PowerSleeve!

Cheers,
jamp76

I'll buy the SuperDrive and the casing on the back of the LCD. What kind of RAM is in the machine? PM me with answers please. Thanks. :)

Hector,

Sorry, I'm not interested in trading. I have more computers than I need already.

Thanks for the interest though!

Calvinatir,

I'm not positive one way or the other if a Powerbook Superdrive will work in a mini. I've never actually held a mini in my hands or research such a question. Feel free to invetigate and let me know.

Also, are you in Calabasas, CA? If so, you're not far from me.

Cheers,

Check out: http://www.dttservice.com/powerbookg4al.html

You can get the logic board for much, much less than 700 with a bit of deep searching. DT&T charges just a bit over $400.
