Hi all,

I have 20Gb of music on my iBook which is linked to my 3G iPod. I bought a Mac Mini and have transferred all my music to it using a Firewire cable and dragging the files across (I want to be able to burn back up DVDs of my music you see). I cannot find a way of getting my iPod to sync to this new machine as its default. It can see the iPod, but tells me there isn't enough room to transfer all the files (which there is) and seems to be looking for the iBook as its master.

Any ideas?

I've tried deleting the xml library files on the mac Mini but this didn't work

Thanks in advance

Richard in the UK

How to use your iPod to move your music to a new computer (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300173).

Or network the two Macs (or connect them using Firewire) and follow this: iTunes: Moving your iTunes Music folder (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301748)
