Deleted main partition with hopes of reinstall from USB

Ok, so I made a bootable USB drive for reinstalling my Mac OSX ML onto my mac. However, it's not letting me use my thumb drive?? What gives?

I bought the OS from iTunes, this was just hopefully going to be way faster.. And besides that, all my passwords are unique characters and are Saved to my keychain which is on a backup drive. ._. Feel so sol.

And yes, I'm in the hold-down-option-on-restart screen.


How can I make it see my thumb drive so I can reinstall ML?

If you still have the installer DMG you downloaded from the App Store, you might try remaking the USB key using this free app. Sometimes doing it manually people miss a step and it will cause the USB key not to work.
