I replaced the cracked screen on my mid-2010 MBA. Never again as I didn't do the best job and I think I would have been much better off having Apple repair it. At least it would still be under warranty.

Anyway, water under the bridge. I wrinkled the fresnel backing sheet to the screen (one of three sheets behind the screen).

Any idea on how to find a replacement? I haven't come up with the right Google search string to find one. If I can't find one, I suppose I will have to take it to the Genius bar and pay the price.

As long as I'm asking, what is the best double sided tape to re-assemble the bezel to the top?

Wow - I give you respect for even attempting this. I would just take it in and have it fixed right at this point.

Good luck.
