iTunes Wi-Fi Sync Issue

Hi Guys.

i have my iPad 3 set up for Wi-Fi sync, and my iPhone 4s for usb sync (for practical uses, respectively).


When i click 'sync' on the wi-fi connected iPad 3, it disappears from iTunes. It's like a clicked 'eject' when i actually clicked 'sync'.

Anyone else having this issue?

I'm finding the sync to be a bit flaky since upgrading to iOS 6, Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and iTunes 10.7. I have an iPad 2 iOS 6 and an iPad 1 iOS 5.1.1. They sometimes don't connect to iTunes and can also just disconnect.
