I've been trying to download WMP on my ibook because a friend sends me wmp videos. I have it on my emac and it works great.
When I try to download it onto my ibook, I get a "windows media.sitx"
And ibook doesn't know what to do with that.
Where can I get a wmp that will work with my laptop??

Gah, MS finally stopped using Stuffit files with the release of MSN Msngr 5, but the old programs are still distributed in those formats. 🙁 But like my pal Jew said, StuffIt will hook you up, Cindy, and you're going to need it any way. 🙂

Just thought I would chime in and suggest flip4mac if you haven't heard of it. Its a quicktime plug-in codec that lets you play WMV files in quicktime. It isn't free, but it relieves you of having to use WMP, which is always a good thing. 🙂
