how do i copy my mail mailboxe and safari bookmarks?

i want to back these up, i'm planning on reformatting my powerbook and would still like to keep these.

Duff-Man says...your Safari stuff is in home/library/safari (look for bookmarks.plist to be specific)..and your mail stuff is in home/library/mail.

I would suggest that if you are going to reformat that you just back up your whole home folder as there are other things in there you'll probably want....oh yeah!

you need the mail pref file as well... user/library/preferences com.apple.mail or something

so after the reformat i just put these files in the same folders and i should be good to go?

does this actually backup my emails though?
