I need Help Cloning Hard Drive on Mountain Lion

So my Imac 2008 hard disk space got full and i bought a 1tb hard drive plenty of more space but i wanted to clone my current hard drive to the new one before I install it inside my iMac but ive tried programs like SuperDuper or CarbonCopy but it just doesnt copy with errors Any help will be appreciated. 😕

It might help if you post the errors.
Both programs are great and usually work well. Tell us what they said and we might be able to help more.
 
These are the programs for the job, chances are the are both being thrown off by the same thing.

Post any error messages /logs to help us work it out.

The super duper log is not showing much useful, it just mentions some scripts they use that won't work.
There is some issues with Mountain Lion and sym links, I am not sure if that is an issue.
