iAreaCalc is a tool for measuring areas.

itunes link: (http://itunes.com/apps/iareacalc)

What does it do?

It allows you to measure areas/perimeters by walking on them. For example to figure out what's your property area or perimeter just walk along it's borders and the app will tell you it's area and perimeter.

Why walking on them if you can measure them in other ways?

Well, sometimes you can't, imagine you have an irregulary shaped property you want to measure, it would be nearly impossible to do it by making direct measures, and you could try to mark it on a map and calculate it from there, but many times properties/farms/fields limits cannot be clearly seen on a map, that's when or solution proves it's utility, it can be used in almost any situation giving the user a fairly precise measure, and it's almost always possible to use.

What makes this app different?

Well in other similar apps you need to go to a map and find your property in order to measure it. With iAreaCalc you don't have to. All you have to do is to walk along it's borders, simple ah?
