Facebook Privacy Issue

So heres my issue. i use lists so i can post so only certain friends always see my updates and others can not...
if if post a update from the site itself all works as expected. but if i post from within OSX, it seems like this gets ignored and all of my friends can see my posts.
I tested by using the view as function on the site and i can see the difference in the posts.

anyone else notice this and is there a fix? am i missing something in settings etc?
